Siemens relays on eBay

Hello all,

I found these relays on eBay, and they look to be Telefone/teleprinter types - I have purchased a couple to play with.

Just putting them here if they are of interest to anyone - given their history, and coming from Military stores I rather wonder if they are used in something like the T100?

Cheers
Sean

Hi Sean,

here are 2 photos of the original Siemens relais from a "Siemens T-56 Fernschaltgerät FSG" (TW-39), sorry I don't know, where the differences between these and other relais are.
Cheers
Franz

Thanks Franz, These do look very similar, I cant think of a reason why we would have this type of relay here for British equipment - our manufacturers would have used something by Plessey, or from our standard GPO 3000 type relays.

The coils have a "plate" indicating "T Bv 3000/1" resp. "T Bv 3000/36"
See this article: https://www.telexforum.de/viewtopic.php?p=8890#p8890

So the relay with 3000/1 has 7 separated windings / coils while the 3000/36 has only 2.
