This is our job (Henning and me).
We create additional entries at the subscriber server...

Your job is to identify which machine is connected to which local interface and which local number that interface has.

For example: Printer 666507 is connected to the upper side port of TW39 card and this part of the TW39 card has local number 31.

To find out and to change the local number of a port just press the button of that interface card for more then one second and follow resp. answer the printout at the machine connected to this port.
But i think the way to configure a port you already know.

Different approach: Use the web page of your ethernet board and select the menu option "i-Telex (english)" - "Send message" and enter the text *31* (with the stars) in the "enter text" input field.
This will activate the local printer connected to the 31. Of course any other digits enclosed in the two stars work.
To stop this connection you have to wait 45 seconds or make the "hangup" at the corresponding machine.

Hi Fred,

Okay, having translated part of the manual, and tried again, I have changed my local port numbering to something I shouldn't forget :)

So, could I ask you to make some changes for me.

TW39 Card, Port 11 - BT Cheetah 85. 666507 Jonab G

TW39 Card, Port 12 - TeKaDe FS200. 459724 Sean G

TW39 Card Port 21 - Siemens T68d - No Answerback Yet (Future Use)

USB Card Port 31 - J-Term. 350470 Ersatz G (Future Use)

Hopefully this all makes sense to you :)

Cheers
Sean
