Getting back to Ham Radio was excellent - and certainly long overdue.
Above the joy of being able to attend the event, the fun of meeting up with like minded collectors and operators, making great new friends, and spending a week in a very hot Germany all made for a superb holiday in my opinion.
I must thank everyone for making me so welcome, it is a memory that I will cherish forever. I am already planning my trip for 2023
I have to admit I was very surprised how busy the show was on the Friday, and the level of interest in the machines was really good in general - I think that no matter age or interest the loudest display of equipment was the real crowd pleaser.
Good to see another couple of systems find new homes - hope to welcome them as new subscribers soon.
Maybe next year we will see even more forum members even if AFU isnt your thing, Riccardo's amazing mobile dishwasher proves to be very interesting at 01:30!
