Just to rule this out: The Relay pin is correct? I had this issue and polarity was swapped

As far asI can see there is no relay in the O-AGT

Will check. this means tracing the wiring on an untouched AGT - I must have removed the "excess" cables from the line conector and ADO socket......

this is normally the line to the ado-8 stecker, where pin 2 is bridged to 3... this bridge does anything in the oe-agt but i dont know exactly what.
my t100 was not running without it.

relay-pin: Irgendwoher muss das Oe-AGT ja wissen, dass es umpolen muss, die Maschine also starten soll. Im SEU-M muss das Pin 22 und reverse sein.
und unten am SEU-M sind zwei Brücken zu löten, die schalten die Signale zum richtigen IC weiter...

JP4 and JP5 are soldered - these relate to "AGT", and are connecting the outputsfrom the ULN2083 to the AGT, and the pi.

JP6 is also soldered - this relatesto "NSW" and seems to be RXD line into pi on GPIO 10

Will go to my store and grab an unmodified AGT this morning to see how the ADO was originally wired.

So, some good progress.

I have moved from the house to the workshop to ease domestic tension

This also allowed me to try the T100 instead of the T68

I can now make outgoing calls from piTelex to other connections, so this is a good start - incoming currently not working, so I guess this is a centralex server setting problem.


With regards the machine connection problems, I guess this relates to the hungry T68 not being happy with the line current available from the AGT.... I will have to see if I can improve on this

Rebuilt AGT with new capacitors. Still the same issue, will try a different T68 next - if one machine works then all machines should work...

Still the same incoming call problems.

I have the following set up as configuration (please ignore the pin obviously - I realise that this needs to be my actual PIN)

Once I get this fixed I can move back to trying a different T68

I think my entry in the TNS is set up correctly - will ask Detlef to check.

Tip: eliminate all centralex entries and leave only
"centralex": True,
in telex.json. Then the Default values are used.
I'm unsure about your centralex port setting...
