So, with some help from Detlef, I now have 2 way communication with piTelex, but still only on the T100. Seems the main cause of the problem was an incorrect server port for centralex.

Tomorrow I will grab another T68 with FSG from the store and try that.

Hi Wolfram,

Yes, now all working - the T68 chosen for testing must have some odd fault - When plugged into piTelex the motor runs all the time, but works correctly on I-Telex.

I tried another T68 I have here, and this worked perfectly from the start, so obviously something wrong with the machine.

There will be an announcement once the machine and piTelex arrives at it's new home at the weekend.

good to hear you’ve got the T68 with piTelex up and running. Once you’ve had a chance to give it a proper workout, we can look at some of the extra features. I’ve had good results with things like email alerts for incoming telexes and even automatic translation.

No rush though – it’s always best to keep the basics solid first. When you feel ready, just give me a shout and I’ll help you get those extras set up.
