I am Tonnie Wittenaar, a Ham Radio Amateur in the Netherlands. Callsign: PE1DYM
Thanks for adding me to the board.
Currently in the process of total overhaul of a Lorenz LO15
Got this unit a few months ago together with some other stuff.
I used to have a LO15 in the '80's but unfortunately i sold it back then.
Last 5 years looking for a LO15 and found this in Rotterdam. Is was for years stored in a cellar, unattended and very dusty. Luckily it had a dust (or noise) cover so the mechanics where not as dusty as the cover. But a lot of hardened grease.
It is now running but i have to replace the cap on the motor, and possibly also the caps in the rest of the machine.
I can read and understand the German Language , but my German writing is horrible. I will try when i can.
