The T100S that I acquired last month is up and running at 39286. It is in very good condition. It has been cleaned and oiled and all functions are working well.
We can make some guesses about the history of this machine. It came from a building in Hartberg Austria. A man was painting in this building and noticed the machine in the attic. He asked if he could have it and was told yes.
The telex machine has a piece of paper taped to it (which I will preserve rather than remove because it is part of the history of this machine). This paper has various medical institutions written on it with what we can assume are telex numbers. Gebietskrankenkasse (GKK), Österreichischen Ärztekamme (ÖÄK), etc.
The answerback revealed another clue. It is: 39286 drawl a
From this we guess (we do not know for sure) that this machine belonged to Dr. Heimo Waldmann. He was an officer for tele-medicine and a medical IT guy for the province of Styria:

He died six years ago:

He had his own IT company:

(Thanks to Niko Hofinger who researched this background for me).
