Hello friends,
I search for a solution of modifying the baud of F2000 machine to 45 baud. It is 50,75,100 by default. Is it a way to modify the baud? I plan to use it in HAM wireless transmission of 45 baud.

Hello Tamas,

the switch for 50,75 and 100baud is connected to the "BR"-Board, BetriebsRechner (the first and main processor in this device. second processor is for the printer). I think, to use 45Baud it´s necesarry to modify the software for the machine. For this don´t exist documents (my knowledge). I think, it´s not realistic. Maybe it´s easier to use a external small processor, to convert to 50bd, and backwards.

Hey Tamas,

I have build 30 years ago a rtty filter converter within a kit from USA, this kit convert Baudot/ASCII with speed transmission 45-50-75-100 baud - bidirectional. I have sell this nice unit, years ago to a OM in my former neighborhood.
In my opinion there where 2x UART interconnected.
I still on search of a schematic from this kit, because I also have such a requirement
This should also be the right one for your task.
ASAP I have found this - I will make a posting in this forum.

The basic is the UT-2 and with a FIFO-Buffer the UT-4.
