No, it doesn't matter if you work with or without FSG. The line is directly connected
to the receiver magnets.
I would guess that your problem is kind of mechanical.
Mostly gummy grease and oil.
Especially in the receiver section a really good cleaning and washing with alcohol
is very important.
Mostly after a good washing and cleaning plus new lubricating 90% of the problems
are gone.
