There were also T1000 with V.10 (RS232) interface equipped with ADo8 plugs.
A type of plug does not mean anything.

Absolutely true, I have more than one of these machines here - One has standard ADO8 connector, the rest a round Amphenol Military style connector.

All are the V.10 interface.

Das hat ein bisschen gedauert, aber in Zusammenarbeit mit das Cyptomuseum in Eindhoven hab ich diese Woche dann endlich etwas näheres bestimmen können .

S22717-B109-A101 = STT10 ('Control module')
S22717-B232-A100 = LAT28 ('Line adapter')
S22717-Q4-A102 = BET4 ('Manual communication controls')
S22717-B324-A103= SST20 ('Protector')

Zusammen bekannt als (auf Holländisch AanPassingEenheid) APE25 wie beschrieben in A22717-U327-A100-1-7618.

Das Dokument schreibt weiter :

The matching unit APE25 serves for directly connecting the Teleprinter Model 1000 to external transmission facilities without a local cable via a 4-wire polar current, low-level, point-to-point circuit. The send line is fed from an internal source. The low-level interface is according to MIL-STD-188c and contains two wires each for the send and the receive loops and two wires for the call loop.

In die Technical Data wird auch noch gegeben:

Voltage for the telegraph loops and the call loop: +- 6V

Ich bin kein Interface Spezialist, und noch relativ neu im i-Telex, aber das hört sich an als 'nicht Direkt am i-Telex anzuschließen', und das stimmt genau mit was andere mir schon versprochen haben .

Jetzt meine Frage: Anstatt dieses Gerät mit Hilfe von zusätzlichen Konvertern an i-Telex anzuschließen (etwas, wovon ich noch nicht Überzeugt bin das es die Einfachste Lösung ist), wäre es nicht möglich diese Leiterplatten durch einige zu ersetzen, so das dieses Gerät direkt am i-Telex angeschlossen werden kann?
Und wenn ja: welche 'APExx' / Platinen sollte ich dann benützen?

Thanks for the information - Yes, +-6V is the standard also used on the "UK T1000"

I wonder does the Dutch information contain any schematics for the LAT? this might help me with a fault I am having no luck fixing on one of my machines?

Developing a V.10 interface for I-Telex has somewhat slipped down my to do list - I do not think however it is just a case of changing the STT and LAT cards to suit normal line current or tone based signalling - the main board is quite different between the military machines and the normal commercial Telex devices.

Will be interested to see how you get on if you want to try though.

I have had a look at the published documentation - There are schematics for the STT card which in itself are helpful.

I need to compare the LAT drawings - these actually look like the ones I am after
