Re: RFT T-63
Hi
I have bought RFT T-53/6 and RFT T-57-8.
We successfully connected all 3 devices(T-63, T-53, T-57). We can work in local loop.
Can you tell me how to work with T-57 from outside?
Where can i get a light bulb for RFT T-57/8?
Thank you
Vladimir

Re: RFT T-63
Hi Vladimr,
greetings, what's the rating of the lamps? Could be 24V 0,05A? It's typically printed on the lamps. They are called "Fernmeldekleinlampe".
If you want to use the FSG T57 as on a line you have to provide the line-current and the signing according
to TW39. The easy way would be I-Telex, there's a Card for that. You would then be able to communicate
with a bunch of People.
Where do you want to connect to? Do you want to use the Rotary dial to connect?
Regards
Helge

I don't really know what to do with RFT T-57 right now. I want to understand the line. Is it 40 mA loop or something else.Helge hat geschrieben: If you want to use the FSG T57 as on a line you have to provide the line-current and the signing according

Re: RFT T-63
Hi Vladimir,
" Is it 40 mA loop or something else"
Yes, it's a 40mA Loop with a Voltage of about 60 - 120 V (60 might be enough).
The singing is done by polarity reversal. That's all.
What type of plug does the RFT 57 have?
Regards
Helge

Re: RFT T-63
Hi Vladimir,
good - the same as the T63.
http://www.wasser.de/telefon-alt/datenb ... ie=1000384
In the corresponding receptacle you have to bridge b and w. Your current-limited line source goes to a and E.
Depending on the polarity your T63 will start or not.
The polarity-reversal is done by the central Office Equipment, you would have to emulate that.
Concerning the lamps - I'll search for some - but they sould be still available.

Helge
